CEO –Magneti Marelli Shock Absorbers

Appointed October 1st, 2013 as CEO of the Shock Absorbers business line of Magneti Marelli.

The business is headquartered in Brazil with approx. 4,000 employees across 7 plants in Brazil, Poland, USA, India and China for a yearly turnover of ~300M€. R&D centres in Brazil and Italy with application centres in USA, India, China.  Market leader in Latin America with the Cofap brand and among world’s main players, yearly producing over 30Mcomponents.

20 years Automotive experience, progressively covering Engineering, Program Management, Purchasing, COO for different components and technologies: from HVAC and thermal systems to electronic control units, form Powertrain to Lighting.

Over 10 years in the Telematics and Infotainment field, from Program Management up to COO responsibility, managing high complexity Software and Hardware development and integration, production launch and Customer relationship with engineering centres across Italy, France, Germany, USA, China, Brazil and India.

Five years’ experience as Senior VP for Purchasing of the Magneti Marelli group, with worldwide responsibility on 3+ Billion Euro spending for covering electrical, chemical and metallic components plus CapEx and services;  transforming a scattered organization into a single worldwide team managing multiple businesses, cultures and commodities.

I have a degree in Electronics Engineeringfrom Polytechnic of Turin(1992) and executive training with EIPM (France) and the Chicago BOOTH School of Business.

Born 1966 in Turin, Italy, I am married and have three children.   Italian citizenship and mother language, I am fluent in English, French, Portuguese and can speak basicGerman.
